Real-Time Video Tracker / Camera Controller

The EMSI Real-Time Video Tracker automatically controls Pan-Tilt-Zoom cameras to keep the target near the center of the video frame. The software tracks targets using either a correlation track mode or a gated video track mode. The software application interfaces to a USB joystick and Pan/Tilt/Zoom (PTZ) cameras. The video source can be an analog video capture card or a DV firewire connection. Our software can be used to record avi video files of moving objects.

The application can record a video avi file while tracking. The video avi file can be recorded either with track gate (shown above in red) or without the track gate. The videos on this site were recorded in this manner.
The application can connect to two types of video sources:
